2015 Season Championship Festivities Set At Macon Speedway
Autograph Night Will Kick Start Miles Chevrolet Night Saturday
There are just two nights remaining on the 2015-season schedule at Macon Speedway, which means the Season Championship events are upon us. It also means, fans only get two more opportunities to come out and support their favorite drivers before the dull winter months arrive. In addition to the thrilling race action this Saturday, September 26, a driver meet and greet/autograph session will be on the racetrack.
This Saturday's action will feature the Billingsley Towing UMP Modifieds, B-Mods, Street Stocks, Hornets, and Beach House Micros. All five of those divisions were on hand for the September 19 event, had solid fields, and put on great shows. This weekend will be the final night for all of the aforementioned divisions except B-Mods, which will also run on Saturday, October 3.
Looking ahead to the October 3 show, the POWRi Midgets and Micros will be in action for the Macon season finale along with the Pro Late Models and B-Mods. The show was added to the schedule due to a rainout on the POWRi night on August 22. Those with rain checks/wristbands from that event are reminded to bring them along.
Pit gates will open this coming Saturday at 4:00, grandstands at 5:00, and hotlaps will begin when the pill draw ends at 6:00. The autograph session and meet and greet will begin right after hotlaps and qualifying. Racing will take the green shortly after 7:00 when the autograph session comes to a close.
