Macon Speedway
It's Race Day In Macon
Weather looks good for a great night of racing at Macon Speedway. Â Tonight is going to be action packed with something for everyone.
The Big Ten Street Stocks are in the house. Â It will be their fourth event of the season. Â Should be a strong field vying for the top prize and valuable points.
The Beach House Micros will be racing a non-sanctioned show to get ready for the big POWRi Freedom Fest coming up on July 3/4 at Macon. Â The last time the Micros ran a non-sanctioned race at Macon they had a strong field of over 20 cars. Â When they ran under the POWRi banner, over 60 were there. Â Nonetheless, it should be some great racing.
The Hornets will be running in a 20-lap special event paying more money and going for bragging rights and the larger trophy.
Of course, many fans come to see Macon's premier divisions, the Pro Late Models and Billingsley Towing Modifieds. Â Both classes will be there, putting on a great show for those in the stands.
Those that come hungry, Macon Speedway will help you fill those needs. Â In the concession areas, we are offering dollar dogs all night long for Three Dog Night. Â Also, a hot dog eating contest will be held at intermission, presented by University Dogs.
The young fans will gather around the tower at intermission for the popular candy drop. Â Get ready to grab some goodies.
Admission price is $12 for adults but ladies get in for just $6 tonight for Bud Light Ladies Night. Â That's hard to beat.
Pit gates will open at 4:00, grandstands at 5:00, Hot Laps begin at 6:00 when the pill draw ends, and racing will begin at 7:00.
