Macon Speedway Suffers Another Weather Cancelation
POWRi Midgets & Micros Coming Next Weekend
Officials at Macon (IL) Speedway were forced to postpone the Saturday, May 30 program due to heavy morning rains that came through central Illinois. The standing water, wet pit conditions, and additional rain forecasted throughout the day caused the fourth rainout in nine nights of racing.
On tap was Casey's General Stores/Armed Forces Night with five divisions of racing. Details on the rescheduling of Casey's and the Armed Forces festivities will be coming in the near future.
Next up for the 70th Anniversary Season will be IHOP Night on Saturday, June 6. A faster pastor race is scheduled in addition to the much anticipated season debut for the POWRi Midgets and Micros at the track. Also racing are the Billingsley Towing UMP Modifieds, B-Mods, Street Stocks, and Hornets.
Pit gates open on Saturday, June 6 at 3:00, grandstands at 5:00, hotlaps at 6:00, and racing will begin at 7:00. Adult admission is $15, while children 11 and under are free.
