Macon Speedway
Second practice in the books season opener April 18
    MACON, Ill. – With bright sunny skies Saturday afternoon nearly 40 competitors brought their race cars out to the mighty Macon Speedway. The speedway was open for the second and final test and tune before the season opening Spring Fling on Saturday April 18.
Most drivers used the time to shake the cobwebs off from the long winter break. Others used the time to get the feel for their brand new race cars. All of the drivers are excited for the new season and have high hopes of taking home cash and trophies this racing season.
On the card for opening night will be CEFCU Kids Club with Pro Late Models, Sportsman, Modifieds, Street Stocks, Hornets and the Quick Car Touring Series. Gates open at 5pm with racing starting at 7pm. General Admission $12 Adults, Children 11 and under are FREE.
