Macon Speedway prepping for double features in POWRi midgets Saturday night

MACON, Ill. -- Get to Macon Speedway Saturday night for the thrilling open-wheel POWRi midgets, when the talented daredevils will put on a show. There are double features in the POWRi midgets, and POWRi outlaw micros will battle with the Beach House Mini-Sprints. Macon Speedway will also race Billingsley Towing Modifieds, Street Stocks, Outlaw Hornets and Stock Hornets.

On Friday night, open-wheel star Bryan Clauson held off a star-studded field to win the POWRi feature at Lincoln Speedway. Chris Bell and Rico Abreu couldn’t keep up with Clauson, the reigning Chili bowl champ and an Indy 500 qualifer in 2012.

Tickets are only $15. Children 11 and under are free when accompanied by parent. Parking is free. Camping is also free.
