MOWA Sprints rescheduled for Sept. 20 at Macon Speedway, along with Scout Night
MACON, Ill. – When MOWA sprint cars make only one appearance at Macon Speedway all season, it’s imperative to reschedule when Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate. So Macon Speedway is proud to announce the MOWA Sprints are scheduled for Sept. 20.
These full-bodied winged sprint cars tear around Macon Speedway and send chills up your spine. It’s always a great show, and Macon Speedway is the home for motorsports in Central Illinois. Whether it’s UMP Summer Nationals for Late Models, Billingsley Towing Modifieds, POWRi Midgets, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series or Beach House Mini-Sprints – heck , just any kind of car – Macon Speedway wants to bring our loyal fans the best action in the Midwest.
Sept. 20 is also Scout Night. All Scouts in uniform will receive free admission, and that’s good for Scout leaders, too. Scout parents and other adults in the family also receive admission for $10. Scouts will be invited to participate in the flag ceremony, and there’s also the option to get a picture with a real race car.
