Midwest Big Ten Series Street Stocks rev up for another $500 to win payout Saturday
MACON, Ill. – The Midwest Big Ten Series Street Stocks event rained out on June 21 at Macon Speedway has been rescheduled on Saturday, July 12 in another $500 to win feature during the Miles Chevrolet Fireman’s Ball, when the program also features the Sportsman Topless 40 and the gals from Starship Billiards racing on Bud Light Ladies Night presented by Y103.
Bobby Beiler leads Terry Reed by two points heading into the race at Macon Speedway on July 12. Kyle Waters is third in the standings, followed by Gene Reed.
The Big Ten Street Stocks is a 10-race tour spread over four tracks. The competitive, wheel to wheel series also races at Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway, Jacksonville (Ill.) Speedway and the Christian County Fair in Taylorville (Ill.) on July 24, when Larry’s Service Center presents the Triple 25’s on the quarter-mile dirt track. Fans are still talking about the thrilling Street Stocks feature at Macon Speedway on July 5, when four drivers battle furiously for the win before Larry Russell, Jr. took the checkered flag. The division included 24 cars that night in a display of horsepower and fearless driving.
Firefighters with badge/ID and their families are admitted for half price, and all ladies are also admitted at half price during Bud Light Ladies Night presented by Y103.
