Race buckets have arrived in time for Mueller Distributing Lite Beer Twin 50's Saturday
MACON, Ill. – Buckets of beer have arrived at legendary Macon Speedway just in time for the Miller Lite Beer Twin 50’s on IHOP Night Saturday.
There’s nothing better than a cold beer during some hot racing action, so the famed fifth-mile dirt oval teamed up with Mueller Distributing to keep race fans from getting thirsty during the pair of 50-lappers – 50-lap features each for Big Ten Series late models and Billingsley Towing Modifieds.
The Miller Lite race buckets are available at both beer stands beginning Saturday, when five 16-ounce Miller Lites, ice and the souvenir race bucket are just $20. Refills of five more 16-ounce Miller Lites and ice are only $15. You can keep the bucket. That’s a party pack to keep fans in their seats during the action, which is starting to heat up with summer just around the corner.
The Miller Lite Beer Twin 50’s have always been a circle-your-calendar kind of night. The $2,000-to-win late model prize always attracts big name drivers, and the modifieds pay $700 to win. Now race fans are rewarded with race buckets from Macon Speedway and Mueller Distributing.
Also racing Saturday are street stocks, outlaw hornets, stock hornets and B-mods. Grandstands open at 5 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.
