Macon Speedway adds exciting B-Mod class to Raminator Night program Saturday
Â
MACON – Macon Speedway brings another thrilling class of racing to the program when track promoter Bob Sargent announced Monday the addition of the B-Mod class to Bob Brady Auto Mall Raminator Night Saturday.  The B-Mod class is a growing division designed to create tight, exciting racing for drivers who want to stick to a budget.
With no other area track running the B-Mods Saturday night, it should bring a big group of cars to the high-banked fifth-mile oval. Billingsley Towing Modifieds, Street Stocks, Sportsman, Outlaw Hornets, Stock Hornets and Mini-Sprints join the B-Mods in racing Saturday.
The Raminator monster truck will make the trip to Macon Speedway for a heart-stopping, car-crushing exhibition in the infield that shakes the ground in a display of power and muscle after Raminator appears at Bob Brady Dodge, 4025 E. Boyd, Decatur, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.  Scout Night for boys and girls allows free admission when scouts wear their uniforms. Plus, the Pinewood Derby is set for 1 p.m., and the first 200 children 11 and under receive a free checkered flag. The CEFCU Kid’s Club will also meet to entertain our youngest fans.
On May 26, Macon Speedway’s long tradition of racing on Memorial Day will continue when the Sunoco American Late Model Series go after the $2,000 to win. NASCAR stars Ken Schrader and Kenny Wallace, two co-owners of Macon Speedway, will also appear for an autograph session on NSACAR Night of Stars I and race in the highly competitive Billingsley Towing Modifieds division.
