Thrilling mini-sprints ready to turn up the heat on Bob Brady Auto Mall Raminator Night
MACON, Ill. – After the POWRi DynaGraphics Doubleheader was postponed Saturday, mini-sprint drivers are anxious to get on Macon Speedway during Bob Brady Auto Mall Raminator Night on May 24 before racing against the POWRi outlaw micros later this season at the famed fifth-mile high banked oval.
The mini-sprints, a highly competitive division, are a winged car that knows how to get around the legendary oval. Central Illinois has a squadron of talented mini-sprint drivers, and the division is always loaded when it races at Macon Speedway. The hair-raising competition is some of the most thrilling in the Macon Speedway program.
The mini-sprints are set to race nine more times at Macon Speedway, including three nights in conjunction with POWRi. In addition to racing at Macon Speedway on May 24, June 21, July 5, Aug. 9, Aug 30 and Sept. 13, the mini-sprints will race against POWRi machines on June 7, Aug. 16 and Sept. 6.
During Bob Brady Auto Mall Raminator Night on May 24, the mini-sprints will share the program with Billingsley Towing modifieds, street stocks, sportsman, outlaw hornets and stock hornets. The Raminator monster truck will provide an exhibition at Macon Speedway after being on display at the Bob Brady Auto Mall at 4025 E. Boyd in Decatur earlier in the day.
